REACH UP is an accommodation for one to two people located in the rural region of Martvili, Georgia. The temporary home offers everything visitors may need for their stay.
REACH UP is built out of simple materials which can be bought at low cost at a construction market. Essentially, the Tiny House is made out of a garden pavilion. The ceiling hides everything you need for your daily life, such as the kitchen, bed, shower, table, and chair as well as the walls. Most of the functions are placed within foldable attic ladders, consequently changing our perception of the typical use for a fordable attic ladder. By unfolding the ladders, the simple pavilion becomes an unexpected living space.
Traditional Georgian patterns create a welcoming and homely atmosphere. This reference to the local culture integrates the simple structures into the landscape and adds a beautiful layer to the interior design. The translucent walls can be unfolded to protect the inside from wind and rain, creating a beautiful tent-like space.
