Often seen primarily as a functional and sustainable material, mycelium holds an aesthetic potential of its own. These artworks shift the focus towards its natural beauty, highlighting it's unique structures, textures and colours. By presenting the material as an artwork, I encourage viewers to appreciate mycelium as something to be experienced, explored and admired, rather than just its functional use.
