KONTEXT is located on the market square in Mainz. The installation includes nineteen colourful, partly mirrored objects that vary in scale and shape. At first it seems as if the objects are randomly spread, However, when observed from one of the five entrances to the square, standing at the end of the colored lines on the floor, letters and words become visible. These words put their background into a new context.

These words give a new context to the architectural scenery behind them. They provide an incentive for discussions and focus on social problems.
