In the observatory, people worldwide can house their telescopes, remotely controlled through modern technologies. Furthermore, the facility includes seminar rooms and accommodations open to scientists, astronomers, and private individuals. Universo Eirín entrusted me with redesigning the main house and surrounding garden. The primary design concept aimed to blend aspects of the universe and the local environment, creating a unique and emotional atmosphere. Mercedes envisioned incorporating white elements with projections for a technical touch.
I created visualizations for the visitor reception area (“Hall”), building the 3D spaces and furniture by replicating them from photos. Additionally, I designed seven three-dimensional relief images as wall decorations, which were then CNC milled.
