ALIVE INSIDE - film

A human test subject is torn from their routines by an error in the AI-room and must painfully learn what it means to be human.

The Science Fiction movie ALIVE INSIDE is a Bachelor/Masters graduation project. The experimental short film tells the story of a human subject trapped within an autonomous system. She accidentally breaks free due to a fault in the system and, painfully, needs to learn what it means to be a human being.

For this film project, Lina was in charge as art director and probs. Together with her team, she completed the construction of the film set within 10 days. She managed the construction work, led, and formed a team of volunteer helpers. Furthermore, Lina adjusted construction plans and laser files and ordered all needed materials. Together they managed to build the entire 360° set on time for the shooting.

The floor area
Amounted to a total of 150m² with a diameter of 14.4m and could be orchestrated in a 360° setting. The 12 walls differed into three types. One of these walls was mobile to facilitate entering the set.
