The Mycelium Side Table is grown from a natural fibre–based mycelium composite, developed through a cultivation process rather than conventional fabrication. Agricultural residues and fungal mycelium bind into a coherent material structure, shaped over time as it grows into its final form.
True to the principles of Form and Fungi, the piece is designed as part of a circular material system. It can be fully deconstructed at the end of its life, returning to the biological cycle through composting, or reintroduced the other elements into new material processes.
The table challenges the idea of permanence in furniture and proposes instead a material logic based on transformation, return, and continuous reuse within regenerative systems.
