Join us for a unique evening combining mycelium design, sustainability, and food.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll create your own object from mycelium, the root-like network of fungi. And discover its potential as a sustainable, biodegradable material. The workshop is led by Lina Hülsmann (Form & Fungi).
Afterwards, we'll gather for a shared vegan mushroom dinner inspired by the evening's themes.

In this workshop, you will learn about mycelium composite materials and where they are already being used. In addition to lots of fun facts about fungi, I will explain the basics of how you can grow your own design objects from mycelium.
You will put your ideas into practice, take your work home with you, and after about 10 days, you can enjoy the finished result.
The workshop is ideal for anyone who loves materials, is a fan of fungi, or simply wants to try something completely new. In a relaxed atmosphere in the beautiful new llab coworking space, you can expect creative exchange, snacks, and drinks.

On October 4th & 5th, I had a stand at the Designfestival – where, for the very first time, I presented and sold my mycelium products to a wider audience. It was a wonderful experience introducing this fascinating material to people, many of whom had never heard of it before.
I had a great time sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and meeting many fellow fungi enthusiasts!
From now on, you can also find my creations online in my Etsy shop.

I had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic Mycelium Materials Design Workshop in Berlin, invited by the Ackerfestival at 10. and 11.10.25. It was inspiring to meet so many enthusiastic people and speaker like Maja Görpel, committed to climate action and social change.
The workshop was a great success, full of curiosity, creativity, and meaningful exchange.

Cultivating Companionship

The CircleZeit Festival will take place in Osnabrück from 23.09.24 – 27.09.24. I am excited to be part of the festival, contributing with an exhibition about natural materials.
Further, I will hold a workshop on working with mycelium-materials, join me there to learn about the great potential of creating and collaborating with mushrooms!
